Adolescent conducting sessions in school

Trained adolescents conducted four awareness programs in various schools in the Salyan district. During these sessions, they discussed topics related to adolescent reproductive health, the physical changes that occur during adolescence, child marriage, menstrual hygiene, and the impact of waste disposal on climate change.

As a result of these sessions, some students felt empowered to request sanitary pads from their teachers, particularly when they needed them during class. They also initiated the disposal of used pads in designated dustbins and arranged for their collection by the Palika’s vehicle for proper disposal at the dumping site. This initiative helped promote a cleaner school environment at Shivjan Secondary High School (Ward 1), Janta Secondary High School (Ward 8), at Sarada Municipality
